| Joanna Walling was raised in Santa Monica, California. She has studied photography throughout France and California since the age of 16. She is currently based in Los Angeles, splitting her time between her Los Angeles studio and South America. After working as an assistant to photographer Peggy Sirota, shooting corporate photography with Grassroots Clothing, and fashion forward Satine Boutique, Joanna develped her business Pret-a-Photo. Her background studies in the fine arts, language and fashion have molded her vision and concept. Poetry, Shape, Precision and Light. Joanna's work is timeless, subtle and genuine. Begining in 2009, Pret-a-Photo studio was developed in order to cater directly to the fashion designer and retailer in both the print and online markets. Joanna now shoots for a variety of contemporary clothing collections and websites nationwide.
